CHALLENGES
* Minimising risk: as a Project Manager, you will be required to juggle a great many situations to ensure the project does not fail.
* Keeping the team aligned: miscommunication can cause problems very quickly, so it is essential that the Project Manager makes themselves the conduit for discussions about the project, and that everyone involved knows what is expected of them and why.
* Right skills: Project managers can’t bring in a project if they are not supported by a team with the right skills. This is a challenge which must be addressed from commencement of the Project.
* Pressure: Project Managers must be able to work under pressure. Our Customers (internal and external) can be very demanding and timelines can be tight.
* Things don’t always go to plan: as the Project Manager, there will be occasions that need you to think outside the box and be able to bring the Project Team together in order to overcome challenges.
* Timely knowledge of Global and Regional changes: examples of this include organisational structure and changes in process/ways of working.
* The Project Team’s ability to be agile and dynamic in thinking and execution: this promotes empowered resources, builds accountability, speed of delivery, and focus on workstream continuous improvement.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Project Manager has a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver the mission and objective of the Project, while delivering the stakeholders unique vision of CX and brand value. The Project Manager is responsible for leading a project from initiation to handover, this includes planning, execution, managing resources, scope management, and risk control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Planning what work needs to be done, when and who’s going to do it
* Assessing risk and managing mitigating actions
* Ensuring the deliverables are executed to the right standard
* Motivating a team of people involved in the project
* Coordinating deliverables with Project Team members
* Ensuring the project is running on time and to budget
* Managing changes to the project as and when necessary
* Ensuring the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits KPIs
* Scope Management: delivery of the project within the agreed scope
* Schedule Management: achievement of project deliverables against the set schedule
* Budget Management: delivery of the project within the set budget, this includes review and update of the budget in line with any changes to the project scope
* Financial Success Management: Achievement of the financial targets agreed for the project (examples: Revenue and Gross Margin %)
* Operational Success Management: Achievement of the operation targets agreed for the project (examples: Operational KPIs, Attrition, Cost Reduction)
* Risk Management: timely identification and mitigation of project risks/issues, this will include tracking of risks in line with the PMO process.
* Status Reporting: Creation and delivery of the reporting needs as set out as part of project communication
* Information Sharing: Capturing lessons learned during the project and ensuring these are documented as part of the project delivery.
* Client/Customer Satisfaction, measured through survey feedback.
Profile required:
* A minimum of 4 years' higher education in IT, management, finance or other fields.
* Perfectly bilingual in French and English
