Job description: Model Based Design Engineer

MICLA is looking for an Engineer who will be employed as Model Based Design Specialist working as control model developer for Simulation and Hardware in the loop systems dedicated to ADAS component development and vehicle dynamics simulation.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

* Matlab/Simulink control model development and integration;
* Vehicle dynamic model management and optimization;
* HIL/SIL system performance improvements;
* SIL/HIL test methodology development;
* Vehicle maneuvers virtual validation.

Key requirements:

Expected knowledge and skills can be resumed as follows:

* Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Science, or Automotive Engineering;
* Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Model Based Design;
* Advanced Vehicle Dynamics expertise
* Vehicle modeling
* Vehicle handling
* Tyre modelling
* Weight transfer and load distribution
* Suspension geometry and kinematics;
* Hands-on experience with dSPACE SCALEXIO HIL systems;
* dSPACE ASM Vehicle Dynamics model.
