Purpose of the Job


We are looking for an International Buyer (M/F) based in Casablanca (Morocco).

The International Buyer is responsible for strategic international purchasing for the Group entities.

He/she guarantees purchasing performance in terms of quality, cost, lead times and compliance, and steers the implementation of Global Master Agreements (GMA) in coordination with the legal and technical departments, to ensure harmonized application across all subsidiaries.


Key Responsibilities


* Identify, qualify and develop a network of reliable and competitive international suppliers.
* Launch and manage international invitations to tender for the main purchasing families (telecoms equipment, energy, technical services, etc.
* Ensure that products are validated by the technical department, based on samples, Prooth of concepts or any other evaluation method, before any contract is signed.
* Conduct commercial and contractual negotiations ((prices, incoterms, lead times, payment terms)
* Set via Global Master Agreements (GMAs) with suppliers, in close collaboration with the legal technical and finance departments
* Follows up, monitors and updates GMA contracts, in conjunction with the Group's subsidiaries and support functions
* Monitor and coordinate, with the logistics department, Group or subsidiary orders in terms of logistics and documentation, right through to final delivery
* To monitor payments or financing arrangements for strategic suppliers, in coordination with the finance department
* Implementing and maintaining an up-to-date supplier price catalogue by purchasing category, accessible to the technical and sales departments to improve the responsiveness, standardization and consistency of commercial offers
* Work with local Supply Chain teams to pool requirements and optimize purchasing conditions
* Evaluate and monitor supplier performance (quality, on-time delivery, contractual compliance)
* Actively monitor markets, supplier risks and optimization opportunities
* Ensuring strict compliance with the Group's purchasing and compliance policies and internal procedures


Skills and Qualifications


* Master’s degree in International Purchasing, Supply Chain or Business Administration
* 3-5 years’ experience in procurement at an international level;
* Prior experience in telecoms equipment, energy, technical services business will be a plus.
* Computer skills in Excel; ERP
* Good competences in collecting, consolidating and analyzing data
* Certified negotiation skills at an international level
* Experience in managing framework contracts, supplier catalogues and price management tools
* Strong communication and coordination in a multicultural environment
* Fluent in English and French; Good notion in Chinese can be a plus.
