đź§© Your Mission:
As our HR Manager, you’ll set the foundations of Pikala’s growing HR department, championing people-first practices that foster well-being, inclusivity, and performance. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will manage and execute all key HR functions while balancing strategic planning with day-to-day HR operations. You’ll play a crucial role in building a people-centered culture that reflects Pikala’s values and social mission.
📌Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
* Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including crafting JDs, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring managers
* Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions and positive employee experience.
Employee Relations and Culture:
* Foster a positive, inclusive work culture that aligns with Pikala’s values thought team events and team building activities
* Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and employee concerns with fairness and transparency.
* Promote work-life balance by coordinating flexibility arrangements (e.g., personal days or early departures with compensatory time or leave deduction).
Performance Management and Development:
* Implement a system for employee evaluations, feedback, and goal-setting.
* Identify training and capacity-building needs; coordinate internal and external learning opportunities.
* Monitor employee satisfaction and retention rates
Compensation & Payroll:
* Oversee salary planning, job evaluations, merit cycles, and annual incentive/bonus reviews for employees
* Manage the payroll and holidays calculations.
* Report and oversee budgets and resource allocation across the organization
* Collaborating with Legal to ensure compliant pay practices
* Conduct salary benchmarks and advise accordingly to ensure fairness among team members inside and outside of the organisation Â
HR Policy and Administration:
* Ensure compliance with Moroccan labor law and internal HR policies.
* Own HR compliance including contracts, employee files, and local labor law adherence.
* Identify and implement HR software/tools suitable for our stage and growth plans.
* Manage the CNSS declarations through Damancom.
đź› Your Profile
* Masters degree in HR Management or Business Administration or related field
* Minimum 1 years of professional experience in Human Resources, preferably in social enterprises, NGOs, or mission-driven organizations.
* Solid knowledge of Moroccan labor laws, HR compliance, and administrative procedures.
* Ability to build processes from scratch while handling operational HR responsibilities autonomously
* Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to analyze data, generate insights, and present findings to senior stakeholders
* Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on active listening and conflict resolution.
* Clear communicator, capable of handling sensitive topics with discretion and empathy.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong coordination and organizational skills, especially in multicultural settings.
* Passionate about social impact, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.
* Adaptable and solutions-oriented, with a proactive mindset.
* Committed to equity, inclusivity, and well-being in the workplace.
* Enjoys working independently as well as collaboratively in a mission-driven team
* Fluent in Arabic and French, with a working proficiency in English.
