Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Health Safety Environment Officer located in Laayoune. The officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental policies. Day-to-day tasks include conducting workplace safety inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, identifying risk factors, and promoting best practices to establish a safe working environment. The officer will also provide training sessions and create reports to document safety measures and incidents.

Qualifications

* Expertise in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety practices
* Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and occupational health standards
* Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent qualification
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
* Experience in implementing safety measures in a similar industry is a plus
* Understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements related to health and safety
