COFICAB is hiring a GLD & Tax Sueprvisor

Job Purpose : Performs accounting &Tax activities and operations such as accounts receivable & payable book entries, fixed assets accounting and financial statements preparation in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Performs internal control activities over financial transactions and reporting in order to ensure financial information accuracy, reliability and integrity.

Main responsibilities :

* Performs accounting tasks related to the day to day AR processing such as bills, credit memo, payment receipt verification and posting to ensure its accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
* Performs effectively and accurately accounting tasks related to the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions in line with applicable standards and regulations such as registering and posting received invoices/credit memo on the information system, checking its accuracy and compliance (three way matching) and transmitting invoices to treasury for payment.
* Records fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system and calculates depreciation for all fixed assets.
* Participates to fixed assets inventory and performs regular reconciliation of FA record with physical assets inventory.
* Performs banks accounts reconciliations (Payroll, O2C, P2P, Sundry), etc., identifies & investigates differences and proposes adequate actions to resolve according to defined procedures and applicable standards.
* Prepares tax return in compliance with local tax regulation and performs financial and tax disclosure.
* Provides required information to external auditors.

Educational Background

* Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting

* 3-5 Years experience in a similar position
