About the Role:
* General accounting management: Taking charge of all day-to-day accounting operations, including monthly and annual closing entries, accruals, prepayments, deferred income, bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
* Tax management: Ensuring tax compliance in the various jurisdictions, preparing tax returns and optimising tax processes.
* Audit and compliance: Preparing and coordinating external and internal audits, ensuring controls are in place to guarantee compliance of financial reporting.
* Intercompany transaction management: Supervising intercompany transactions, ensuring their accuracy, managing reconciliations and related issues.
* Resolution of intercompany issues: Analysing and resolving discrepancies between Group entities within an international context.
* Financial reporting: Preparing and analysing detailed financial reports for management, with a focus on transparency and accuracy.
* Process optimisation: Participating in the continuous improvement of financial and accounting processes through automation and IT tools.
Who you are:
* A Master degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
* Proven experience of at least 2 years in a similar role within an international company.
* Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS, US/UK GAAP or any other relevant standards)
* Excellent skills in tax management, auditing and intercompany transactions management.
* Proficiency in ERP software.
* Complete professional fluency in English and French as well as strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
