About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Freight Responsible to join our team in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods across our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee inbound and outbound freight operations, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards.
* Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to schedule shipments and resolve logistics issues.
* Monitor freight costs and negotiate contracts with logistics providers to optimize expenses.
* Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of shipments, including customs and regulatory compliance.
* Analyze freight performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to align logistics with operational needs.
* Manage freight claims and discrepancies efficiently.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in freight/logistics management within the automotive industry (minimum 2 years).
* Strong understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and Incoterms.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
