Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial and administrative affairs Specialist located in Casablanca, Morocco. The role involves managing accounts receivable and payable, internal payroll administration, handling invoicing, and ensuring accurate financial records. The role also includes communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
* Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions.
* Oversee and manage the preparation of all financial documentation, such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable.
* Complete bank reconciliations.
* Record all transactions on our ERP system.
* Process tax payments and returns at the bank and coordinate with our tax advisor.
* Prepare periodic financial reports.
* Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
* Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
* Preparing and filing financial documents.
* Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Fact-checking accounting data.
* Reconciling company accounts.
* Processing payroll and tracking payroll data.
* Working with staff accountants as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a must.
* Strong Communication skills in English (speaking, writing, reading) is a must.
* Prior experience as a Finance and Admin Specialist role or in a related field is a must.
* Analytical Skills and Finance.
* Accounting and Invoicing skills.
* Experience with financial software and systems.
* Detail-oriented and organized mindset.
* Experience in the metals or trading industry is a plus.
