The Human Capital Office invites internal and external applicants for the position of Financial Aid Officer at the Finacial Aid Office

“A prior written approval from the Dean/Director or Head of Department is mandatory.”

Reporting Line: Financial Aid Manager.

Position Description Summary

The general purpose of this position is to process and follow up financial aid, bank loan and scholarship applications.

Principal Duties

• To receive and process financial aid applications for new and continuing students and update data

• To notify applicants of all documents necessary to complete their application forms.

• To send notification letters to financial aid beneficiaries

• To follow up bank loan files, coordinate with the bank and communicate decisions.

• To notify applicants of all documents necessary to complete their loan contracts with the bank.

• To follow-up all part-time job issues (applications, assignments, compensation, etc.....)

• To follow up students' history in terms of grant and or scholarship

• To provide information to students about financial aid and scholarship policies and procedures

• To follow up with sponsoring institutions about academic standing or any other issue related to sponsored students.

• To answer phone requests for information about financial aid and scholarship

• To meet with prospective students requesting information about financial aid and scholarship

• Participate in some activities related to the Admissions Office such as Open doors, TOEFl exams, etc.....

• To assist in the development of financial aid information for the website and for promotional materials.

Additional Responsibilities

• File and classify letters, applications, and all financial aid documents

• Maintain all financial aid documents in the vault and in the Financial Aid Office

• Perform other duties as assigned
