On behalf of one of its clients in the food industry, TECTRA MAROC is looking for a Finance Manager based in Casablanca, under a fixed-term contract with the potential to transition into a permanent position

Responsibilities

* Managing the day-to-day activities of the Finance department.
* Ensure that all accounting data are correct and accurate
* Passing all monthly adjustment entries like prepaid, provisions, etc. for the preparation of MIS.
* Ensure that all accounts are reconciled, and the required internal control system is implemented in the Accounts Department.
* Complete the monthly closing procedure as per the corporate guidelines.
* All insurance related jobs (Renewal, additions and deletion of all company property).
* Review of all incentives and allowances as per the approved policy.
* Ensure that all control accounts are tallied with GL.
* Verify the monthly Payroll calculation and ensure that all pay roll related elements are calculated correctly.
* Support in the preparation of budget.
* Finalization of yearly Accounts and liaison with both internal and external auditors.
* Verify and approve all Journal entries and payment vouchers.
* Clearing the queries of accounts staff and supervising the department.
* Ensuring the timely submission of the monthly reports as per the schedule
* Ensuring that all accounting entries are passed as per the accounting manual.
* Interacting with other departments for accounts related matters.
* Preparation of cash flows and other reports for the H.O Review.


* Review and approve the Supply chain request as per the policies and procedures.
* Coordination with Tax Consultant/Authorities for various taxation related matters.
* Ensure budgetary control and compliance with approved policies and procedures.
* Responsible for talent development and succession planning in the Finance function.
* Regularly plan and review teamwork, acknowledge progress and celebrate success with team and individuals.
* Facilitate empowerment of people, coach employees on increasing their performance and efficiency and increasing operating efficiency and margins


Qualifications

* Qualified Accountant with around 5-10 years of post-qualification experience.
* Commercial and Finance experience in Retail or Food & Beverage industry is desirable
* Experience of interacting with senior management
* Able to demonstrate team management skills
* Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, project management, and presentation skills
* Knowledge of IFRS and Financial modeling
* Relevant knowledge and experience on Moroccan Tax , customs and other legal Matters.


COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE

* Expert knowledge of MS Office applications. ERP (Oracle/SAP) system exposure is mandatory
