We are seeking a proactive Finance Manager to oversee local finance operations, compliance, and consultant coordination for our Morocco entity. This role will require close day-to-day interaction with the external consultant/Shared service center (SSC) managing ERP, accounting, payroll, and tax matters. The Finance Manager will ensure full compliance with Moroccan statutory and labour regulations, while also supporting group-level reporting, FP&A, and commercial finance activities. Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.
Primary Responsibilities
· Act as the main point of contact with the external consultant/SSC managing ERP, accounting, payroll, and tax compliance.
· Coordinate day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring smooth information flow between local consultant, regional finance, and group stakeholders.
· Ensure local compliance with Moroccan statutory, tax, and labour regulations, including timely filings and adherence to reporting standards.
· Manage payroll validation and employee-related statutory obligations in collaboration with the consultant.
· Oversee vendor and customer reconciliations, and ensure accurate accounting entries in the ERP system.
· Monitor local statutory audits, tax assessments, and ensure resolution of compliance issues.
· Maintain strong internal financial controls and ensure financial governance.
Secondary Responsibilities
· Assist in preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
· Support management decision-making with performance insights, trend analysis, and cost driver reviews.
· Prepare management dashboards, trackers, and presentations.
· Support intercompany reporting, reconciliations, and group-level month-end closure.
· Partner with regional and global finance teams for consolidated reporting, ad hoc analysis, and leadership updates.
· Contribute to commercial finance activities such as client invoicing, revenue recognition, and contract compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
Must Have:
· CPA, or Master’s in Finance/Accounting with 3–5 years relevant experience.
· Strong knowledge of IFRS and Moroccan statutory/tax requirements.
· Hands-on experience in finance operations (invoicing, reconciliations, payroll coordination) and FP&A.
· Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, SAP preferred), Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Excellent communication skills in English and French, with ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
Good to Have:
· Experience working in a multinational or regional setup.
· Ability to prepare management decks, dashboards, and analytics for senior stakeholders.
