As we accelerate our expansion in the Middle East and Africa we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Representative to establish and grow our presence in North Africa Countries.

Position Summary:

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for driving Aiko Solar’s growth in the North Africa Countries market by identifying key distribution partners, developing strategic channels, and enhancing local brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude to build customer trust and establish Aiko as a leading player in the local PV landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard local distribution partners (wholesalers, EPCs, installers) aligned with Aiko’s growth objectives.

  • Manage and nurture key accounts, ensuring alignment with performance and cooperation goals.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to provide strategic input.

  • Drive brand visibility through local marketing events, industry expos, and collaboration with strategic partners.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical support, marketing, logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports on a regular basis.

  • Represent Aiko professionally and credibly in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the solar or energy sector.

  • Strong network within the North Africa Countries solar market (distribution, EPCs, or C&I customers) is a strong advantage.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and take ownership.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

  • Willingness to travel across North Africa Countries and occasionally within the region.
