As digital risks become more embedded in the startup journey, cybersecurity training is essential—not as a niche, but as a foundation.

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Learning and Innovation Consultant who will enhance our existing cybersecurity learning programs by working hands-on with trainers and facilitators. This role isn’t about curriculum creation—it’s about bringing it to life through modern, agile, and startup-relevant delivery methods.

Role Focus:

You will support the upskilling of our training teams in delivering content that covers core areas such as network security, digital forensics, incident response, threat modeling, cyber hygiene, and secure-by-design thinking. The consultant will adapt facilitation styles, integrate technical insights, and help benchmark global best practices for cybersecurity learning in startup and talent-driven environments.

Core Responsibilities:

Coach trainers on how to deliver cybersecurity content effectively to non-traditional learners, including startup teams and early-career technologists.

Guide the integration of practical labs, hands-on simulations, and interactive methods aligned with real-world cybersecurity challenges.

Provide technical oversight on topics including basic offensive/defensive techniques, data privacy, incident lifecycle, and forensics-lite tools.

Assist in adapting sessions to reflect industry expectations, while remaining accessible and context-sensitive for learners in innovation ecosystems.

Benchmark delivery methods against international standards, ensuring quality, relevance, and learner engagement.

Represent the cybersecurity learning stream in industry-aligned panels, roundtables, or events when needed.

Who You Are:

You bring at least 6 years of practical experience in cybersecurity, ideally with exposure to both training environments and operational realities.

You’re fluent in communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences and can coach others to do the same.

You're comfortable with tools and concepts related to endpoint security, log analysis, malware basics, vulnerability scanning, and open-source forensics frameworks.

You have a track record of designing or delivering training, and you're passionate about making complex topics simple and engaging.

You can collaborate with startup teams, speak their language, and offer practical, actionable advice on building security into innovation.

While you may not hold every certification, your skills, credibility, and ability to deliver value speak for themselves.
