Job Summary

As the Country Manager for Morocco, you will be responsible for developing and executing the business strategy to drive profitable growth in the country. This includes overseeing all commercial activities, managing distributor relationships, leading local teams, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong sales and marketing background, excellent leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the Moroccan FMCG market.


Key Responsibilities

* Market Strategy & Execution
* Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan aligned with regional and global strategies.
* Identify market opportunities, trends, and potential risks in the Moroccan FMCG landscape.
* Sales & Distribution Management
* Lead and manage distributor partnerships to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
* Set and achieve sales targets, improve in-market execution, and expand channel presence (GT, MT, eCommerce).
* Team Leadership
* Build and lead a high-performing local team across sales, marketing, and operations.
* Set clear KPIs, manage performance, and foster a strong company culture.
* Marketing & Brand Activation
* Collaborate with regional marketing to adapt brand strategies and campaigns for the local market.
* Ensure effective in-store execution and promotional activities.
* Operational Excellence
* Manage P&L responsibility for Morocco operations.
* Oversee forecasting, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
* Stakeholder Management
* Liaise with internal cross-functional teams (finance, supply chain, product) to ensure smooth operations.
* Represent Nabati with external stakeholders, authorities, and industry bodies.


Qualifications & Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience in FMCG, with at least 3 years in a leadership or general management role.
* Proven experience managing distributors and driving market expansion in Morocco or similar North African markets.
* Strong knowledge of Moroccan retail environment and consumer behavior.
* Fluent in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial acumen, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
