Role Overview

The Social Media Content Creator Specialist will lead content strategy, creation, and optimization across Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms. This includes designing original posts, long-form discussions, graphics, newsletters, and interactive campaigns. The role requires analyzing performance metrics, engaging with communities, adapting strategies based on feedback, and aligning content with brand goals. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of social media content experience, strong copywriting skills, and expertise in content calendars, community engagement, and platform-specific best practices.

Location: Fully remote (work from home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

* Design and develop original content tailored to different social media platforms, including Reddit, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
* Create diverse content types, including:
* Text posts and long-form discussions.
* Image-based content and simple graphics using Canva.
* Newsletters, AMAs (Ask Me Anything), community challenges, and interactive series.

* Develop monthly content calendars for multiple platforms, ensuring they align with the brand's strategic goals.
* Conduct research to guide content strategy, ensuring it is aligned with the latest trends, SEO practices, and platform updates.
* Adapt content strategy based on community feedback and platform dynamics.

Brand Integration

* Understand and apply varying brand voices and messaging across multiple clients.
* Create organic, authentic questions and discussions that feel natural within communities.
* Research and identify the most suitable Reddit and other social media platforms for brand-related content.
* Develop strategic seeding plans that align with Reddit’s culture and other platform-specific dynamics.
* Monitor and report on brand-related discussions, sentiment, and emerging trends, ensuring content is optimized for engagement.

Content Analysis & Optimization

* Track performance metrics for different content types across platforms.
* Analyze engagement patterns and user responses to refine strategies.
* Identify trending topics and conversation themes to engage with the audience.
* Document best practices for engagement across various social media platforms.

Community Research & Engagement

* Stay up to date with platform-specific culture, community preferences, and updates.
* Respond to urgent content needs and create real-time content based on trending topics.
* Monitor platform trends to identify engagement opportunities.
* Collaborate with clients to guide content strategy, taking into account specific brand goals.

Ad Hoc Content Management

* Create real-time content based on trending topics.
* Adapt content strategy based on feedback from clients and community dynamics.
* Support special projects and campaigns as needed.
* Provide content recommendations aligned with specific marketing objectives.

Experience

Required Qualifications

* Minimum 2+ years creating and managing content for social media platforms, with a strong focus on copywriting and content creation.
* Proven track record of successful social media content creation, particularly for Reddit, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
* Experience in SEO content strategy and managing content calendars.
* Background in digital marketing, content strategy, or community management.
* Writing portfolio that includes newsletters, blogs, or other long-form content. Reddit experience is a bonus.

Technical Skills

* Proficiency in Canva for simple graphic creation.
* Strong writing skills for both short-form and long-form Reddit posts.
* Familiarity with image and video editing tools.
* Experience using content performance tracking and analysis tools.
* Deep understanding of Reddit’s features, subreddit rules, and community dynamics.
* An SEO analysis background is a plus.
