Comptable

 The Task:

› Posting of both recurring and ad-hoc journals

› Preparation and booking of monthly accruals

› Preparing balance sheet reconciliations on a weekly basis, while ensuring that the reconciliations are well evidenced (Jsox)

› Perform periodic bank reconciliations and actuals reporting  

› Preparation of accurate financial statements in line with monthly/quarterly timetables and requirements (IFRS adjustments)

› Control the opening, reconciliation and closing of the Inventory and cash sub-ledgers in accordance with J-sox requirements.

› Prepare year-end tax pack, year-end balance sheet adjustments in line with statutory accounting and audit requirements

› Support the European business, and assist the finance department with responses to the external Auditors, Tax Advisors and the wider business by providing all requested financial information and responding to queries in a timely manner.

Your Profile:

› Higher education in Finance, Accounting.

› Working towards a Professional Accountancy Qualification (part qualified / finalist)

› Basic Knowledge of accounting procedures such as bookkeeping and other general financial procedures

› Excellent attention to detail.

› Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team

› Fluent in English and French

› Excellent computer literacy with advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office

› 3 years of experience in a company with a similar business profile (maintaining accounting books) within the finance department

› Previous exposure of working within a multi-currency organization.
