Accountant _ Intérim

For our entity in Casablanca - Morocco, we are looking for an Accountant (Intérim) to join our Finance Team.

What you can expect:

Role Summary:

The role of the Accountant is to ensure proper and timely recording, classification, and processing of business transactions in the ERP system. Drive Accounts Payable Processes and Treasury management besides safeguarding BASF Assets. The accountant will be the key lead in preparation of the statutory reports as well as liaising with internal and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:

* General Accounting:
* Preparation of payments timeously & accurately
* Vendor and GL accounts Reconciliations
* Booking related to Goods
* Ensuring the good receipt and service entry on time.
* Good receipt and Invoice receipt (GRIR) Cleaning.
* Weekly reporting – payments due, queries, debit balances etc.
* Ensure that all ongoing monthly expenses are processed timeously
* Making tests when required
* Analyse and support to prepare KPI reports, working closely with the Finance colleague for processes and Knowledge improvement
* Ensure the upload of all corporate cards’ expenses on SAP on time
* Creating, blocking, or amending the GL accounts on MDG.
* Management Accounting:
* Support with Statistical Key Figures, allocation keys setting, and maintenance of the cost allocation of final cost centres
* Cost centres’ templates’ creation
* Deliver all reports related to Management accounting
* Non-Trade Business Transactions (NTBTs): Responsible for correctly requesting, processing, documenting, and filing of intercompany Non-Trade Business Transactions (NTBTs) for tax audit purposes
* Ensure the correctness of manual postings or adjustments
* Ensure the check of products costing and confirm the deviation with alignment of responsible department on monthly basis.

What we expect:

Qualification & Experience:

* A degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
* Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in general accounting/management accounting role.

Skills :

* IT Skills: Good level in SAP, M3, Excel
* Proficient level in French, Arabic and English
* Team player, Positive Attitude
