Role Overview
As a Career Development Coach, you will be responsible for engaging with clients daily, providing coaching, and ensuring they are motivated and on track to achieve their professional development goals. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and create tailored study plans that align with their career aspirations. This client-facing role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to speak to a variety of career-related topics, such as Office 365, project management, and broader career concepts. You will also use various tools like RingCentral, Trello, and Zoom to communicate with clients and manage their progress.
Key Responsibilities
Client Meetings & Coaching
* Meet with clients daily, providing personalized coaching and support to ensure they are progressing in their learning journey.
* Set up study plans tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and timelines.
* Keep clients encouraged, motivated, and on track with their learning objectives.
* Recognize and address clients' needs, adjusting coaching strategies as necessary to help them succeed.
Career Development Support
* Provide guidance on career concepts such as Office 365 skills, project management skills, and other valuable professional development topics.
* Engage in value-based conversations, focusing on helping clients realize their career goals and improve their skills.
* Share insights, advice, and encouragement to ensure clients stay on track with their career advancement plans.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring consistent communication.
* Use RingCentral for dialer communications, follow-ups, and keeping track of client progress.
* Regularly update and engage stakeholders to keep them informed on client progress and achievements.
Technical Proficiency & Tool Usage
* Demonstrate strong technical skills with tools like Office 365, Trello, Zoom, and the company’s proprietary learning platform.
* Ensure clients are comfortable and proficient with using the tools necessary for their training and career development.
* Ensure efficient management of client data and communication via the learning platform.
Mentorship & Potential Growth
* While not initially a mentoring role, there is potential for growth into a mentor position as you gain experience and build client rapport.
* Guide and support clients with a passion for helping them succeed and achieve their career goals.
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
* 2+ years of experience in client-facing roles, such as account management, coaching, or customer success.
* Proven ability to manage client relationships and recognize client needs.
* Experience with Office 365, project management skills, and general career development concepts.
* Proficiency in tools like Trello, Zoom, RingCentral, and other collaboration platforms (technical-savvy).
* Familiarity with proprietary learning platforms is a plus.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
