Develop and expand the solar PV market in Morocco and North Africa (including Algeria, Tunisia, Libya), identify and acquire distributors, EPC contractors, installers, developers, and government & corporate clients.
Achieve annual sales targets for PV modules, inverters, storage systems, and related products; manage full sales cycle: lead generation, quotation, negotiation, contract signing, order execution, and payment collection.
Conduct market research on local energy policies, electricity prices, competition, and industry trends; provide regular market analysis and strategy suggestions.
Cooperate with internal teams (product, technical, logistics, finance, legal) to ensure smooth project delivery, customs clearance, and compliance.
Maintain key client relationships, participate in industry exhibitions and business events, and enhance brand influence in North Africa.
Support project bidding, technical proposals, and after-sales coordination for utility-scale, commercial & industrial (C&I), and distributed solar projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, International Trade, Marketing, or related fields.
Must be based in Morocco with working experience in Morocco or North Africa; familiar with local business culture, market rules, logistics, and customs clearance.
2+ years of working experience in solar PV sales, with proven track record in PV modules, energy storage, or solar systems.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic or French is a strong plus.
Independent, result-oriented, strong negotiation and client management skills; able to travel within North Africa.
Familiar with international trade procedures, sales contracts, and risk control.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing client or distributor resources in Morocco / North Africa.
Experience in utility-scale or C&I PV project development and bidding.
Knowledge of local energy policies, grid code, and renewable energy incentives.
