Missions

Support the nomination of customer during the RFQ phase by obtaining the best QCD & LTA terms and conditions from the suppliers

* Work with the Family Purchasing Managers and the Regional Purchasing Directors to prepare the Supplier Target Panel for each of their projects from the RFQ phase until product industrialisation in the mass production phase
* Make sure the purchasing strategy is applied by Projects and that Project needs are communicated to the Family Purchasing Managers for the segments concerned
* Complete the supplier CBDs and communicate them to the Family Purchasers to update the cost databases
* Systematically put all the suppliers defined in SSR into competition, propose at least two technical and financial proposals to suppliers in SNC if possible for all the project specific components.
* Manage all negotiations with suppliers
* Meet the Project material economic targets and compensate for the Quick Savings imposed by the Customers using agreements with suppliers
* Make sure Project purchasing contracts are signed on time by all the suppliers concerned
* Meet the Project Purchasing index targets for each of their projects
* Support the R&D department in prototype and pre-production part cost negotiations.
* Make sure procurement activities are completed on time in accordance with the Project schedule.
* Provide the communication between the project team and suppliers
* Be in charge of creating, using and updating the Purchasing Dashboard; every project must be covered by a Purchasing Dashboard
* Include each negotiated LTA in the TPS system
* Monitor critical project supplier-related issues and make sure corrective actions are implemented and that they are effective
* Update purchasing information to allow Project Purchasing reporting and performance indicator monitoring (Dashboard, Project Purchasing Index, Convergence plan, material monitoring, TPS Project Purchasing spend)
* Coordinate with the other project buyers concerned by the same platform to guarantee the proper application of the Purchasing strategy in each region, that supplier locations are in line with the needs of the plant in question and use these levers to secure the platform's supplier base

Good knowladge of automotive industry with at least 3 years of experience
