Overview: Heads the overall Procurement function and initiatives. Responsibility covers the supplier/ vendor contract management which includes his responsibility to review before it is endorsed to the authorized approving officer. Facilitates the renewal of all insurance that pertain to business coverage and processing of claims related thereto. Expected to maintain the highest degree of independence on relationship with the suppliers/ vendors.

* Allows the release of Purchase Orders (PO) or any commitment to purchase in behalf of the company.
* Ensures that the request went through the necessary budget and approval requirement.
* Endorses the supplier contracts to the authorized approving officer. Ensures that all financial and obligation sections of the contract were reviewed and at utmost advantage of the company.
* Handles high-level disputes related to the procurement process and initiatives. Any issues beyond his/ her capacity shall be escalated to the VP for Finance.
* In-charge of the renewal of business insurance coverage e.g. Property, CGL, D&O, PI, etc. Processing of claims and monitoring until the issuance of related resolution shall form part of this responsibility.
* Approves procurement related policies and procedures, and leads the implementation thereof. Update of these policies and procedures forms part of this responsibility.
* In-charge in the planning and directs implementation of Procurement special projects and initiatives.

Minimum Requirements to apply for this role:

* Atleast 7 years of Procurement experience. Preferably in a BPO/IT/Shared Services industry
* Must have an extensive list of vendors across various specialization such as: Medical Partners Recruitment Partners, Construction, Rental/Lease, Business permits, Logistics, Fuel, Concessionaire, Technology equipments, Government affliates.
* Good English communication skills as we're dealing with international vendors for accreditation, meetings etc.
