Accounting Supervisor

YOUR ROLE

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports. You will ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, manage financial processes within the ERP system, and support continuous improvement of financial efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

* Supervise and coordinate day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Review and maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.
* Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
* Reconcile bank statements, monitor cash flow, and ensure timely payments.
* Oversee compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and international accounting standards.
* Support internal and external audits, and implement recommendations as needed.
* Ensure proper use and optimization of ERP systems for accounting and reporting.
* Coordinate with external vendors, auditors, and internal departments (finance, HR, operations, legal).
* Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering professional growth and development.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

EDUCATION

* Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

* 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role.
* Experience in a multinational or multi-entity environment is highly preferred.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

* Proficiency in Finance software.
* Strong command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
* Knowledge of Moroccan Finance law and regulations.
* Fluency in French ; English is a plus.
* Familiarity with international accounting standards.

* Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
* Strong leadership, organizational and time management abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

* Collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
