Role Overview:
Within the Electrical and Electronic Architecture team, the Project Validation Manager is responsible for the Integration and Verification strategy of the PIV (Integration and Verification Plan) across the entire Electrical and Electronic Directorate, as well as for its execution. To do this, they coordinate the validation team for a project, relying on the subject-matter experts from the other vehicle EE validation domains.
To this end:
* They define the optimized PIV (Integration and Verification Plan) for the electrical and electronic architecture of a vehicle project during the preparatory phase.
* They lead the vehicle validation team for their project(s).
* They manage the progress of the Electrical/Electronic PIV during the test execution phase, adjusting the strategy progressively according to project needs.
* They report on the overall progress of the PIV, coordinating with and relying on the experts from the other EE validation domains, acting as the primary interface with the engineering management of the project(s).
In addition:
* They are accountable to the project for compliance with the overall QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance) requirements of the PIV for the EE validation scope negotiated within the program.
* They provide EE support to the project during the upward phase of the V-cycle and manage, under configuration control, the fleet of rolling test vehicles of the Research and Development Directorate for the EE scope.
* They ensure synchronization of the configurations of system, subsystem, and component-level validations with the reference architectures officially approved for the project.
Profile:
* Graduate engineer in Electronics, Embedded Software, or equivalent, with 5 to 10 years of experience in the automotive field.
* Strong experience in the design and validation of electrical and electronic systems, including Electrical/Electronic Architecture (networks, EE functions, distribution, etc.), and solid vehicle knowledge are essential.
* Proven project leadership skills are essential, including operational and/or hierarchical management of teams of technicians and engineers.
* Rigor, strong communication skills, team leadership, role modeling, results-oriented mindset, and decision-making ability.
* Fluent in both French and English.
