Purpose of Role: This is a dynamic role responsible for driving commercial success and operational excellence in Mauritania. You’ll manage sales and aftermarket operations, and ensure compliance with Weir’s safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:


* Lead and manage all operational, sales, aftermarket, and administrative activities in the territory in line with company procedures.
* Drive commercial performance by supporting sales teams in maximizing opportunities across the full Weir Minerals product portfolio.
* Ensure compliance with reporting, safety, and operational procedures, and maintain alignment with Weir Group’s terms and conditions.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide commercial and technical support to enhance business quality and volume.
* Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:


* Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams in a technical or industrial environment.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales, aftermarket, and contract management.
* Knowledge of operational procedures and risk management in a mining or heavy industry context.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
