The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Media Buyer & Creative Strategist to own paid social performance and lead the creative engine that fuels it. You’ll manage $30K+/month per account budgets, architect testing roadmaps, brief and iterate high-performing creatives, and turn insights into revenue for e-commerce brands.
Type: Full-time (40h/week)
Location: Remote (100%)
Schedule: Semi-flexible, start between 09:00–10:00 and finish 18:00–19:00 (Africa/Casablanca), Mon–Fri
Compensation: 15,000 MAD fixed salary (gross) + performance bonuses as we scale
What You’ll Do
* Own end-to-end paid social on Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest: planning, launch, scaling, and profitability.
* Build rigorous testing frameworks (concept → hook → format → angle → offer), with clear KPIs (CPA/ROAS/MER/AOV/LTV).
* Lead creative strategy: research, messaging, angles, briefs, storyboards; collaborate with UGC creators/designers.
* Write high-impact ad copy (short & long form) aligned with brand voice, positioning, and audience stages.
* Spin up and iterate AI-assisted video & image creatives; make quick cuts and mockups when needed.
* Analyze performance daily/weekly; turn data into clear actions (scale, iterate, kill, pivot).
* Maintain clean account structures, naming conventions, and documentation (SOPs, reports, playbooks).
* Collaborate with CRO/email/landing page teams to improve conversion rate and overall funnel performance.
* Support tracking/attribution setup (pixels, CAPI, Events API, GA4, UTM governance, feed hygiene) with our tech team.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
* 5+ years hands-on media buying for DTC e-commerce (multi-SKU stores preferred).
* Proven success managing $30K+/month per account on Meta and TikTok; Pinterest experience in e-com required.
* Creative Strategy expertise: hypothesis-driven testing, angle discovery, brief writing, and iterative learning.
* Strong copywriting for performance (hooks, leads, bullets, CTAs, offer framing).
* AI creatives: comfortable using modern AI tools to ideate, cut, and version video/image ads.
* Basic Canva abilities for quick iterations and mockups.
* Solid grasp of branding, marketing strategy, targeting, and positioning.
* Languages: Professional English, French, and Arabic (Moroccan dialect a plus).
* Degree: Master’s in Marketing (or closely related field).
* Ideally worked with clients in Morocco and the USA and understand both markets’ nuances.
Nice-to-Have (Plus)
* Tracking/attribution depth: Meta CAPI / TikTok Events API / GA4, server-side events, feed optimization.
* Familiarity with tools like Triple Whale, Motion, Foreplay, CapCut/Adobe, Notion, ClickUp, Google Sheets.
* Experience briefing UGC creators and running creator/affiliate pipelines.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
* Ship a channel roadmap with clear testing cadence and learning agenda.
* Launch 10–15 new creative concepts with variants; document insights per iteration.
* Hit early-stage guardrail targets (e.g., < target CPA, positive signals toward 3–5× ROAS depending on margin).
* Establish clean reporting (daily/weekly) and crystal-clear kill/scale rules.
