Job Description
Responsible for sales of Oracle consulting services.
We are looking for a high-impact Consulting Sales Representative based in Morocco to lead Consulting Services sales across Francophone Africa, including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and other French-speaking countries, as well as assigned markets such as Lebanon. The ideal candidate will be a driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the financial services sector, established relationships in the region, and the ability to effectively position and sell Oracle’s consulting offerings to both business and technology stakeholders.
The candidate is expected to:
* Hunt and farm across assigned territory and accounts, driving both white-space and existing account opportunities.
* Possess a strong network across the financial services sector.
* Have a proven record of overachieving services sales targets, particularly exceeding USD 10 million annually.
* Be an excellent networker capable of identifying key IT and business stakeholders to position Oracle Consulting services, in alignment with license sales and presales efforts.
Primary Objectives:
* Sell consulting services and meet/exceed sales targets across assigned territories, with emphasis on Kenya, Ethiopia, and other East & Horn of Africa countries.
* Engage strategically with customers to build lasting relationships and lay the foundation for consulting sales.
* Effectively position Oracle’s consulting portfolio at C-level, covering business, IT, and operations.
* Build deep client engagement models to drive value and long-term partnerships.
* Create a tailored transformation case, business case, and solution proposals for each client opportunity.
* Manage and close opportunities efficiently through structured sales processes.
* Drive lead generation and pipeline management activities.
* Collaborate across Oracle LOBs, FSBGU teams, and other internal and external stakeholders.
* Lead Oracle FSGU account plans and coverage models to identify and pursue target clients.
* Work with partners, alliances, license sales, and executive-level stakeholders both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
Responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Target Achievement
* Own and meet/exceed an individual quota through effective selling of Oracle Consulting Services in the assigned region.
* Drive sales across a mix of existing strategic accounts and white-space/new logo opportunities.
* Lead the sales cycle from early opportunity identification to deal closure, ensuring deal quality and governance compliance.
Customer Engagement & Value Positioning
* Build and deepen relationships with key decision-makers at banks, regulators, and ecosystem partners across the region.
* Develop and present customized transformation proposals, including clear business cases and value justification.
* Align Consulting engagements with business and technology objectives of the client.
Pipeline Development & Deal Management
* Generate, qualify, and manage a strong pipeline across the region.
* Ensure timely forecasting and proactive deal management through Oracle sales tools and processes.
* Leverage Oracle’s brand and success stories to position strategic programs in digital transformation, compliance, and modernization.
Internal & External Collaboration
* Collaborate with License Sales, Presales, Product Management, and Delivery teams within Oracle to drive integrated deals.
* Engage with Oracle’s partners and system integrators to expand coverage and co-sell where appropriate.
* Participate in account planning and strategy formulation across key strategic accounts in the region.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
* 12–15 years of successful experience in banking software or consulting services sales, preferably in Francophone African markets.
* Proven track record in solution selling, closing large deals (USD 5M+), and engaging with C-level executives.
* Experience with software vendors such as Oracle, Temenos, Finacle, Misys, or TCS BaNCS is a strong advantage.
Regional Knowledge:
* Deep understanding of the Francophone African banking ecosystem, regulatory requirements, digital trends, and key players.
* Familiarity with the banking and financial landscape in Lebanon and the broader North Africa region is a plus.
Skills & Attributes:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
* Strong executive presence, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
* Ability to articulate business and technology value to different stakeholder personas (IT, Operations, Finance, Risk, etc.).
* Independent, self-driven, and goal-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Other Requirements:
* Willingness and ability to travel across Francophone Africa and the Levant region.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Technology; MBA preferred.
* Comfortable working in a matrixed and multicultural environment.
