About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures. The ideal candidate will support data-driven initiatives by ensuring data quality, availability, and reliability across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT processes)

  • Build and optimize data architectures and data models for analytics and reporting

  • Collect, process, and transform large datasets from multiple sources

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards

  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver actionable insights

  • Monitor and improve pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues

  • Implement and manage data storage solutions (data lakes, data warehouses)

  • Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data engineering solutions

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or equivalent programming language)

  • Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks

  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, AWS, GCP, etc.)

  • Understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and database design

  • Familiarity with APIs and data integration techniques

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with real-time data processing

  • Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps practices

  • Certification in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
