Senior Accounting Manager

Job Purpose

* Responsible for the proper application of accounting standards and the management of relations with third parties (suppliers, tax authorities, etc.);
* In charge of the application of legal obligations in accounting and tax declarations.
* Responsible for supervising all recorded entries.
* Responsible for the management and support of the teams, and the implementation of IT solutions.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

* Oversee all accounts payable processes, ensuring that current procedures are followed and implementing improvements where identified.
* Responsible for managing the accounts payable team.
* You will be the key point of contact in the finance team for suppliers and will liaise with Account Payables team to ensure compliance with the procurement policy.
* Responsible for producing the various AP reports (DPO, Payment delays declaration,..)
* Manage interfaces with different departments (HR, Procurement, project teams, etc.) to ensure that suppliers are paid on time and avoid penalties on payment deadlines.
* Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or disputes related to payments or invoices
* Train and develop accounts payable staff, including setting performance goals and conducting performance evaluations
* Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payable
* Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed
* Participate in the definition and implementation of procedures, manual of procedures, accounting, tax, financial rules and establishment of good practices;
* Respect for the confidentiality of the information processed
* Ensure the implementation of internal control rules and their compliance by the teams of the financial department.
* Monitor analytical accounting vs. general accounting;
* Participate in the implementation of new IS solutions;
* Ensure the management of Ensure the support and training of teams
* Manage interfaces with internal and external auditors and controllers of the tax administration, exchange office or others
* With solid SAP experience and skills is nice to have

* A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as an accounting manager or Senior accounting manager, preferably in a multinational
