Science Teacher

Position Opening: Part-Time High School Science Teacher

Location: The American School of Marrakesh

Start Date: September 2025

The American School of Marrakesh is seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-Time High School Science Teacher to teach the following courses for the 2025–2026 academic year:

* IB Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS)
* High School General Science

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with course objectives and standards
* Assess and support student progress through formative and summative evaluations
* Collaborate with the Science Department and wider faculty
* Participate in school meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development as required for part-time staff

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field
* Professional fluency in English is required
* Teaching credential or certification
* Experience teaching IB Environmental Systems & Societies is strongly preferred
* Experience with high school science instruction in an international or inquiry-based context is an asset
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
