Sales Coordinator Job Description:

 

Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Support: Assist the sales team with day-to-day tasks such as preparing sales presentations, proposals, and quotes for clients.
* Order Processing: Manage the order process from start to finish, ensuring orders are entered accurately, invoiced correctly, and shipped on time.
* Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, providing product information, and resolving any issues that arise.
* Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales metrics, performance, and forecasts to support decision-making.
* Communication: Act as a liaison between the sales team, management, and other departments (e.g., marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth communication and the timely completion of tasks.
* Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events related to sales and client meetings. Maintain schedules and assist with travel arrangements for the sales team.
* Database Management: Maintain an organized system for customer records, sales leads, and inventory.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, contracts, and correspondence with clients.

Qualifications:
* Education: A high school diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
* Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role. Previous experience in sales coordination or customer service is preferred.
* Skills:
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tools is a plus.
* Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging customer situations.

Working Conditions:
* Full-time, standard office hours (Monday to Friday), with occasional overtime as needed.
* Office-based role with occasional travel for client meetings or events (if applicable).
