Risk Coordinator

Overview:

Inuka is working with a prominent ±$900 million pan-African infrastructure investor and asset manager that develops and invests in bankable projects using public and private sector funding. Their sectors include energy, gas, transportation, ICT, health infrastructure, education and fintech.

They are seeking a Risk Coordinator who would be based at their offices in Casablanca. Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, you will ensure that group risks are identified, measured, monitored, reported, and managed to help protect and grow the business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Designing and building enterprise risk management frameworks with experience in internal and secondary controls
* Contribute to rolling out the enterprise risk policy and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
* Assist in embedding risk monitoring tools, procedures, and reporting mechanisms across teams
* Help design second-line controls and recommend enhancements to internal processes
* Provide input on company-wide risk identification, assessment, and reporting for senior stakeholders
* Develop and maintain risk dashboards and reports to support informed decision-making
* Participate in the review and refinement of risk-related policies to meet evolving regulatory and business needs
* Monitor adherence to internal risk protocols and escalate issues when needed
* Support compliance procedures including due diligence, conflict of interest, AML/CFT, and integrity assessments
* Assist with due diligence for potential investments and transactions
* Help facilitate internal training sessions to improve risk awareness and compliance culture
* Contribute to tech-driven improvements in risk management, including digital tools and automation initiatives

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (honours preferred)
* 5–9 years of relevant experience in risk or compliance, ideally within investment, PE, DFIs, or financial institutions
* Fluency in English is required; French is a plus
* A connection to Africa, either regional experience, geographic location, through family, or a demonstrated interest
