Join us and take your career to the next level

Kalmar is looking for a Reliability Manager to take the helm of equipment performance and lifecycle strategy for our prestigious TM2 contract. In this high-impact role, you won't just be managing machines; you’ll be the architect of uptime and the bridge between technical precision and customer satisfaction.

As the primary decision-maker for reliability within the contract scope, you will define and execute a robust strategy that ensures our equipment is always ready to perform. You are the vital link between maintenance execution, engineering, product support and our customers—translating complex data into continuous improvement initiatives that drive sustainable operational excellence.

What Are Your Key Responsibilities

* Reliability Strategy & Planning: You will define, implement, and optimize the reliability strategy for all equipment under the TM2 contract. This includes developing Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs and leading FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to proactively mitigate risks and align with operational goals.
* Performance Monitoring & KPIs: Establishing and tracking reliability KPIs is essential. You will monitor equipment uptime and the effectiveness of maintenance initiatives, ensuring that data-driven insights translate into high-performing assets.
* Execution Oversight & Stakeholder Coordination: You will serve as the glue between departments, collaborating with maintenance execution, engineering, product support, spare parts and quality teams. By challenging and influencing stakeholders, you'll ensure that reliability initiatives are executed on time and barriers are removed.
* Customer Relationship Management: As the primary point of contact, you will handle daily customer communication. You are responsible for presenting action plans, reporting progress, and continuously developing the customer relationship to ensure full alignment.
* Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement: When failures occur, you will lead the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence. Utilizing Lean methodologies such as Kaizen and Six Sigma, you will drive process enhancements and operational efficiency across the board.
* Technical Reporting & Lifecycle Documentation: You will be responsible for the "source of truth," preparing detailed reliability studies and technical reports. This ensures all equipment lifecycle management and contractual documentation meet both Kalmar’s high standards and our customer's expectations.

What We Offer You

"Customers depend on us. Our focus isn’t optional — it’s what keeps terminals running and trust alive. "

* Rewards that truly count: We offer meaningful development opportunities through varied assignments, fair and gender-neutral pay, and flexible working conditions — all within a culture that values your growth and celebrates success.
* Safety that moves us forward: Build your career with a company rooted in safety since the 1940s, ensuring stability and an environment that empowers you to speak and be heard.
* Purpose that drives change: You'll contribute to solutions that transform global trade, creating environmental and operational innovations. You'll be in the driver's seat of ideas, developing digital technologies that set industry standards and position us as the forerunner.
* People who move together: You'll collaborate with people who build lasting relationships through global expertise, connections, and a commitment to sustainability.

Become part of our global network of 5,300 professionals across 120+ countries, where your work drives innovation, sustainability, and meaningful impact around the world.

What You Bring To The Role

* Educational Foundation: You hold a Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Your academic background provides the technical lens necessary to oversee complex equipment systems.
* Proven Reliability Expertise: You bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or asset management. You have a track record of using CMMS and data-driven planning to manage equipment lifecycles and are an expert in predictive maintenance techniques.
* Strategic & Analytical Leadership: You are a master of Lean tools (Kaizen, Six Sigma) and continuous improvement methodologies. You possess the analytical rigor to navigate complex environments, making high-stakes decisions that balance operational uptime with cost-effectiveness.
* Mastery of Influence & Networking: Since this role requires leading cross-functional initiatives without direct reports, your ability to build strong relationships is vital. You are skilled at challenging the status quo and advocating for solutions that enhance efficiency across engineering and maintenance teams.
* Bilingual Communication Skills: As this role involves daily interaction with diverse stakeholders and international teams, professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required.
* Innovation & Forward-Thinking: You don't just follow schedules; you innovate. You leverage data analytics to identify trends and introduce cutting-edge reliability solutions, ensuring our maintenance strategies remain proactive rather than reactive.
