Regional Cash Manager - MEA

JOB PURPOSE :

* Ensure, optimize and secure management of the region's cash at all levels of the organization. Lead coordination between central treasury teams and regional operational, logistics and financial teams to support and optimize processes.
* Oversee in-country cash management and support compliant practices in driving business growth for the region.
* Prepare and ensure all treasury reporting activities in accordance with the expectations of the region and the Group Corporate functions.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

* Ensure continuous improvement of the region's organizations and management processes. Describe and monitor the practices and procedures in force in our countries, identify weaknesses and propose the necessary improvements, and ensure their implementation.
* Ensure training of all regional teams to achieve the expected processes.
* Maintain a system of policies and procedures, ensure the appropriate level of control over treasury activities in all countries and in accordance with the group's treasury rules, monitor translation differences.
* Ensure the financial capacities of our NSC and GD to manage the company in a secure manner and consistent with our growth ambitions
* In agreement with the central treasury team, define objectives for the countries in terms of level of receivables, payment deadlines, factoring operations, review and validate with the countries the best financing schemes to manage business, protect the company and respect the golden rules.
* Monitor the financial situation of the countries: local capacities and limits of our importers and DGs and anticipate the regional financial situation and the financing needs of the countries.
* In agreement with the accounting team, monitor cash balances and ensure proper reporting in the accounting and consolidation systems
* Participate in preliminary studies for financing and investment projects (loan, financial package, Capex, investments, etc.)
* Analyze fx impact for currencies other than EUR in the region

Qualifications

* Master Degree in Finance or equivalent
* 5 years minimum in a similar position
* Language: English (French will be appreciated)

Preferred Skills & Abilities:

* Have in-depth knowledge of treasury and accounting practices
* Good understanding of financing schemes and regulations
* Good knowledge of the company structure and its process standards
* Ability to consolidate and reconcile financial data (use of Excel, consolidation tools, etc.)
* Need to communicate and collaborate with colleagues across the organization: ability to work well with others and understand their constraints, priorities and objectives
* Rigor, reliability with a strong orientation towards results and compliance.
