R&D Center Manager (M/F)

We are hiring a R&D Center Manager (M/F) on behalf of our client, an a global agri-food group.

Mission: Ensure proper resources’ allocation and coordination to support the R&D programs located at the Center.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure the R&D maintenance infrastructure in collaboration with the R&D PROGRAM MANAGERS.
* Support the operating budget planification and execution.
* Manage operating personnel activities.
* Plan and execute purchases for all activitiesin the Center.
* Ensure trainings and execution of safety activities.
* Coordinate hygiene activities.
* Manage internal and/or external visitor calendars.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, environmental, personnel local guidelines.
* Coordinate together with BREEDER or VD MANAGER the crop management to ensure proper conditionsfor breeding and/or variety testing activities.
* Ensure the R&D maintenance infrastructure in collaboration with the R&D PROGRAM MANAGERS.
* Plan and execute purchases for all activitiesin the farm.
* In coordination with BREEDER define and execute operating budget.
* Coordinate the offsite activitiesfor the external trials in a defined are

Academic Background :

* MBA or Master in Horticulture.

Languages:

* Spanish: Desirable
* English: Fluent

Professional Experience:

* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Managerial and technological skills:

* Agronomy, administration, accounting,physiology, nutrition, pest and disease Management.
* Communication, People management. Organization, Project management.
* Microsoft Office. Data Basis. Statistics

KPI:

* Low recordable accidents level,
* High level of quality internal trials
* Budget execution within target
* Propose own and direct reports'career development plan.
