Project Finance Associate

Location: Casablanca, Morocco

Experience: 4–6 Years

We are working with a leading global professional services network operating in over 100 countries and territories and delivering audit and assurance, tax advisory and consulting services to clients ranging. With a growing advisory practice supporting infrastructure and energy transactions across Morocco and the wider West and North Africa region, they are looking to hire a Project Finance Associate to join their team in Casablanca.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the structuring and execution of project finance transactions, including debt and equity financing for infrastructure and energy projects.

• Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess project viability, returns, and financing structures.

• Conduct financial due diligence and risk analysis for prospective transactions.

• Prepare information memoranda, pitch materials, and client presentations.

• Assist with market research and sector analysis to support business development efforts.

• Liaise with lenders, investors, legal counsel, and other transaction stakeholders.

• Support senior team members in client relationship management and deal negotiations.

• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 4–6 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory (experience in infrastructure or energy sectors is a plus).

• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.

• Solid understanding of project finance structures, debt instruments, and risk allocation.

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with financial modelling software .

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
