Main Responsibilities:

* Lead a multidisciplinary team of Engineers, Consultants, and Contractors to execute the VEM Asset Integrity Plan
* Drive the development and execution of technical Opex and Capex plans,
* Manage Maintenance Capex projects across S&D sites, delivering safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with engineering procedures, codes, and standards through ongoing governance and updates.
* Oversee engineering interfaces with joint ventures and third-party depots, fostering alignment and collaboration.
* Implement Group Environmental Standards and uphold asset integrity by executing new projects safely and efficiently.
* Lead contractor selection, qualification, contract management, and performance monitoring, ensuring alignment with procurement and corporate standards.
* Champion a strong QHSSE culture across all stakeholders and ensure compliance with Group HSSE policies and Permit to Work requirements.
* Promote operational excellence by implementing audit findings, driving asset integrity programs, and ensuring JV compliance.
* Empower talent through capability assessments, structured training, and performance management to build a high-performing engineering team.

Job knowledge, skills and experience:

* Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Material Science, or a related field Professional Experience:
* 8-10 years of professional experience in asset integrity management, inspection, or related roles
* Experience in the mechanical integrity of oil and gas facilities, including pressure vessel, piping, and storage tank inspection and repair techniques
* Strong understanding of industry codes and standards
* A good mastery of project management, PMP certification is a plus.
* Expertise in risk-based inspection (RBI) and understanding of failure mechanisms and corrosion issues in the oil and gas industry
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams
