Context

UNICEF, established in 1946, works globally to protect and promote child rights, focusing on survival, education, and healthy development. In Morocco—a strategic middle-income country with growing economic ties—UNICEF sees an opportunity to strengthen private sector engagement to reduce disparities and improve children’s well-being. The organization aims to diversify income sources and build impactful partnerships with corporations, foundations, and membership-based organizations. These collaborations combine financial support, innovation, and responsible business practices, advancing child-friendly policies and sustainable change. The assignment supports UNICEF Morocco’s Private Sector Engagement Roadmap, leveraging corporate influence to promote children’s rights and mobilize resources.

Description of Duties

* Map private-sector networks and key influencers for engagement on child rights and CSR.
* Develop and manage partnerships for financial and non-financial contributions.
* Conduct due diligence, maintain donor profiles, and prepare tailored engagement strategies.
* Draft agreements, pitch materials, and participate in donor meetings and events.
* Support advocacy for child-friendly business practices and CSR initiatives.
* Produce communication materials and update digital platforms to showcase partnerships.
* Monitor agreements, report progress, and ensure targets are met.
* Contribute to designing the new country programme (2028–2032) with private sector inclusion.

Profile Requirements

* Master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in private fundraising, partnerships, CSR, and institutional fundraising.
* Strong knowledge of UNICEF’s mandate; experience with UN fundraising is an asset.
* Excellent networking, proposal writing, and advisory skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Fluency in French and Arabic; working knowledge of English.
