Role Overview:
The Planning & Configuration Lead (PCL) is responsible for meeting timeline and configuration objectives across the Functional, Engineering (Organique), and Industrial domains, as well as for the Engineering Bill of Materials of a family of adaptable powertrains (GMP). The role involves leading the actions required for their definition, consolidation, and monitoring.
In this context, the Planning & Configuration Lead (PCL) is responsible for:
Hardware & Industrial Domain:
* Leading and coordinating the activities of the Diversity and Codification Pilot (RCD)
* Developing schedules (work packages) for design and associated validation deliverables, ensuring feasibility
* Managing target configurations and associated design deliverables planning within the engineering and industrial scope (including partners and subcontractors):
* Ensuring completeness of the Engineering Bill of Materials and Digital Mock-Up (DMU)
* Leading deliverables monitoring cycles:
* Analyzing gaps versus targets
* Alerting project teams, departments, and contractors of potential issues
* Anticipating deviations and risks
* Leading the change management (PEPP)
* Identifying, managing, and reporting risks within the scope
* Reporting progress to the project team
Functional Domain :
* Leading and coordinating the activities of the Functional Configuration Management Lead (RGCF)
* Developing project schedules (work packages) for design and associated validation deliverables, and ensuring their feasibility
* Building the schedule for Secondary Launches (LS) in coordination with vehicle projects and relevant PRS departments, based on the deployment plan provided by the Family Manager
* Managing validation deliverables planning within the functional scope (including partners and subcontractors), and consolidating PIV (Vehicle Integration Plan) monitoring at project level:
* Ensuring consistency and overall alignment of the project PIV schedule (timeline/resources) with engineering and industrial PIV schedules
* Managing the project vehicle fleet
* Consolidating workload for calibration freeze activities
* Monitoring progress of PSCV rolling for project validation vehicles
* Identifying, managing, and reporting risks within the scope
* Reporting progress to the project team
TECHNICAL & MANAGERIAL SKILLS:
* Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent
* 1–3 years of professional experience (experience in the automotive industry)
* Good level of English
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Proactive with a strong sense of initiative and autonomy
