We are looking for a talented Clearance Officer to join us. Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and submit import documentation (bill of lading, invoices, packing lists) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Coordinate with suppliers and shipping companies to collect required documents and track shipments.
* Manage customs clearance processes, including HS code classification and handling duties and taxes.
* Liaise with customs authorities to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
* Coordinate logistics with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses to ensure timely delivery.
* Maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and monitor delivery performance and quality.
* Ensure compliance with import regulations, manage risks, and maintain accurate records for audits.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:

* Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Bac+3 / Bac+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in customs clearance / import operations, preferably in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, healthcare, etc.).
* Experience in pharmaceutical environment is a strong advantage.

Technical skills:

* Experience with international trade finance (letters of credit, CAD, etc.).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Fluency in French and English in speaking and in writing
* International trade, Incoterms, rules of transport and international trade.
* Windows office (word, excel, power point)
