Job description:

YOUR ROLE 

The mission of the 2PL Traffic Supervisor is to ensure the transportation of goods in response to specific customer needs, with a focus on profitability, adherence to commitments (timeliness, costs, and quality), compliance with current legislation, and compliance rules. 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

Activity management:  

* Managing 2PL traffic activity and ensuring compliance with processes 

* Managing a portfolio of dedicated carriers and distributing them within the team 

* Verifying legal and documentary compliance for trips within Morocco 

* Ensuring the smooth transportation of trailers from the arrival port to the final destination, and their return in good condition to the embarkation port within agreed-upon deadlines 

* Checking that tractors and trailers have all necessary documents (transport approval, registration, insurance, technical inspection) 

* Communicating and informing internal and external stakeholders about trip progress. 

* Implementing the company’s safety and security policy 

 Financial indicators 

* Tracking and achieving budgetary objectives set by management, determining action plans 

* Controlling and validating, in agreement with management, the cost items related to the activity 

Management: 

* Managing and challenging an operational team (19 drivers, 3 operators, 1 admin, 2 customs administrators) 

* Sharing and communicating the strategic vision with the team 

* Defining individual roles and translating departmental objectives 

* Evaluating and developing the skills of team members 

* Creating and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and implementing action plans 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

* Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Bac + 3) in Logistics / Transport Management 

* Minimum experience of 8 years in Moroccan Road Transport  

* A first management experience is desirable, preferably with a population of truck drivers 

* Proficient in IT tools. Essential knowledge of the Microsoft Office

* Good knowledge of Moroccan transport regulations. Knowledge in European regulations is a plus 

* Interpersonal and communication skills: Customer-oriented and results-driven; Supplier management, negotiation, and relationship skills; Dynamic, rigorous, reliable, sense of organization and priorities 

* Languages: Proficient in French. English and/or Spanish are a plus
