The American School of Benguerir is looking for a PK-10 Music Teacher to start in September 2025. ASB offers an American education based on the US common core standards. All subjects are taught in English. Students are taught Arabic and French as of Preschool. Join a diverse team of educators from Morocco and abroad! About the Role

The PK-10 Music Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students, fostering a love for music, and encouraging creativity and expression through various musical activities.

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement engaging music curriculum for PK-10 students.
* Conduct music classes that promote student participation and enthusiasm.
* Assess and evaluate student progress in music education.
* Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
* Organize and participate in school music events and performances.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
* Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.

Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of music theory and pedagogy.
* Ability to play multiple musical instruments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

* Experience teaching in an international school setting.
* Familiarity with diverse musical genres and cultures.
