Mid/Senior Associate - Corporate M&A - Casablanca, Morocco

We are seeking a qualified Corporate lawyer with over 3 years of post-qualification experience, including meaningful experience in an international law firm, and a strong background in corporate and M&A transactions. This is an opportunity to join a growing team working on a broad range of sophisticated cross-border and domestic transactions.

Primary Job Purpose

To support the partner responsible for the corporate/commercial practice in developing and growing the Moroccan Market.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Advising clients on all aspects of corporate law

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating different commercial contracts

• Supporting the partner with business development initiatives related to the corporate/commercial practice.

Education & Certification

• Qualified lawyer

• Post qualification experience – ideally between 3 - 8 years but will consider other appropriate candidates.

• Experience – the candidate will have experience in corporate/commercial law with experience of M&A transactions, capital markets, commercial contracts

• Language(s) – Bilingual, fluency in French and English with Arabic being desirable but not essential.

• Proven ability to take on responsibility and manage files.

• Must be able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

• Flexibility, positivity and real interest and background in corporate/commercial law.
