Role Purpose:

To manage and oversee all logistics activities in Morocco , including warehousing, transportation, and distribution, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations in line with Transmed standards. The role ensures seamless coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and service providers to deliver best-in-class customer service and support business growth.


Responsible for ensuring logistics SOPs are implemented, monitored, updated, and continuously improved to achieve operational excellence and full compliance with QA and HSSE standards.


Accountabilities:

Team Management

* Manage, coach, and develop logistics staff to achieve operational excellence.
* Implement training, succession planning, and performance management in alignment with HR policies.
* Ensure adequate staffing levels and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence

* Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including inbound/outbound transportation and warehouse activities.
* Monitor logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, service level, cost per case, utilization) and ensure corrective actions where needed.
* Collaborate with planning, sales, and finance teams to optimize supply chain flows and meet customer needs.
* Implement LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce inefficiencies.

Risk & Compliance

* Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
* Ensure compliance with QA, HSSE, and regulatory requirements across all logistics activities.
* Conduct audits and regular reviews to ensure full adherence to Transmed standards and policies.

Control, Safety, Security & Maintenance

* Ensure proper maintenance of logistics infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment.
* Conduct safety audits and enforce HSSE practices to achieve zero accidents.
* Implement robust security measures for fleet, goods, and warehouse assets.

Cost & Efficiency Management

* Manage logistics budget and ensure adherence to financial targets.
* Negotiate with logistics providers and suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining service quality.
* Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives across transportation and warehousing operations.

Quality Assurance

* Ensure compliance with FEFO/FIFO in warehousing and distribution processes.
* Maintain audit readiness for supplier and customer requirements.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service reliability and customer satisfaction.

TM Purpose

Act as a role model by living the Transmed Purpose on a daily basis.

Role Requirements

Academic Education & Professional Certification

BA degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus


Operational & Managerial Experience

8–10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain, with at least 5 years in a managerial/supervisory role.


FMCG industry experience preferred


Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of transportation and warehousing processes

  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, ERP systems)

  • Good knowledge of inventory control, routing, and reporting tools

Language Skills

  • English: Fluent
