The HSE Lead Specialist (Drilling & Wells) reports to the HSSE Liaison Manager and responsible:
* Planning, implementing, monitoring, and supporting all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) matters within the assigned asset.
* Develop and maintain HSSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to support day-to-day operations onshore and offshore teams, as well as supporting functions, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards and regulatory requirements.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate HSSE risks across the asset, working collaboratively with onshore and offshore teams to enhance risk awareness and cultivate a Human Performance Improvement as a generative HSSE culture.
* Provide professional HSSE leadership, technical expertise, and guidance to line functions, demonstrating assurance that HSSE risks and performance are being effectively managed within the assigned scope.
* Lead, oversee, and execute HSSE plans and programs, and work cross-functionally to promote HSSE awareness and drive ownership of HSSE responsibilities within the workforce.
* Monitor and track HSSE training, competency development, and compliance, ensuring personnel meet required competency levels in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
* Drive continuous HSSE improvement initiatives within the asset, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance performance, strengthen controls, and elevate overall HSSE culture.
