Junior Model Based Design Engineer (Powertrain Domain)

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior MBD Engineer in Powertrain to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those with initial experience in MBD. You will work on innovative projects in the areas of powertrain functions, and have the opportunity to develop your skills in a stimulating environment. The position is based in Casablanca.

As a Junior MBD Engineer in Powertrain, you will:

* Drive requirements engineering across the V-Model
* Development of concepts for customer powertrain functions
* Implement control-unit functions in MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, and ASCET
* Derive test cases from specifications and execute functional tests in Simulink
* Analyze faults using ECU error logs and bus-communication measurements
* Document technical concepts, architectures, and test strategies
* Lead and participate in project meetings—both internal and with our customers
* Manage defect lifecycles: tracking, escalation, retesting, and closure

You’ll work with industry-standard platforms and processes:

* Architecture & Requirements Tools: Capella, DOORS, Codebeamer, AVW
* Configuration & Issue Tracking: Atlassian Confluence & Jira
* Calibration & Measurement: INCA, CANape
* Model-Based Design: MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, ASCET

What You Bring :

Mandatory

* University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related
* Hands-on experience in system-level and software-level engineering (V-Model SYS/SWE phases)
* Strong MBD expertise: requirements → model implementation → testing
* Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
* Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
* Fluent English (B2 or higher)
