COFICAB is hiring IT Technician

Job purpose :

Provides service desk and IT & service operations management including daily operational activities and physical IT environment management to meet department objectives.

Main responsibilities :

* Keep systems up-to-date through operating systems upgrade.

* Assist with the design, implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features.

* Monitor web performance, network availability, and security.

* Provide technical support either by phone, remote access or visits as needed.

* Install, test, and monitor servers, firewalls, and new software.

* Respond to IT issues, hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.

Educational Background:

* Bac+2 or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Required Experience :

* 0-2 Experience in similar position

Functional and Technical Competencies :

* Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience, Good memory of how software and operating systems work.

Behavioral Competencies :

Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with, Problem solving skills, Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required.

Good level in french.
