Background

AgentAya is a UK-based AI startup on a mission to help SMEs worldwide discover and adopt the right AI tools for their business. We're an experienced, globally distributed team currently raising our first funding round, building a multilingual platform that will reach businesses across multiple markets.

We have 100+ detailed AI tool reviews (~1,500 words each) in English and Spanish, that need localizing into key languages as part of our MVP launch.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a fluent French speaker who is familiar with, and interested in business and AI, to help us bring our content to your language market. This isn't translation work (we have AI for that). This is about making decisions on how content should feel for professionals in your market.

Your role:

·       Review AI-generated translations in French, and refine them where needed

·       Decide what works, what doesn't, and what needs adapting

·       Make judgment calls on terminology, tone, and local business language

Example: In some languages professionals use English terms like "sales," "AI," and "content" rather than translating them. You'll be the expert making those calls for your language, deciding when to translate, adapt, or keep terms in English.

What we’re looking for:

✓ Fluent French speaker (written and spoken)

✓ Fluent in English (comfortable discussing SEO, AI tools, startup concepts)

✓ Interest in, and awareness of business/tech terminology, and how professionals actually talk

✓ Can work independently and make smart decisions

✓ Willing to work as a freelancer, paid per hour, on what is initially a temporary, small project

✓ Bonus: familiarity with SEO, localization, AI tools and AI agents and startups
