About Metister Academy
Metister Academy is an early-stage online learning business.
We are building a course-selling platform that will initially launch in one language and later expand into a multilingual learning platform. The goal is to create a clear, scalable and professional online academy for individual learners and, later, company clients.
If the project validates well, we plan to establish the company structure in Morocco and build the core team locally.
The role
We are looking for an Instructional Designer / E-learning Producer to turn ready-made scripts into complete digital learning courses.
The initial focus is to launch the online academy and define a repeatable production model. In a future phase, this person may also help manage training projects for company clients, including production planning, quality control, templates, timelines and coordination with subject-matter experts.
You will not be expected to define the business strategy or write expert content from scratch. Your role is to transform structured material into clear, engaging and scalable e-learning lessons.
Course format
Each course will combine:
* Avatar-based video lessons.
* Adobe Captivate interactive simulations.
* SCORM 1.2 packages.
* A structure that allows the final course to be integrated into LearnDash with proper learner progression, completion tracking and reporting.
The learner should experience the final result as one coherent online course, not as disconnected videos and simulations.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Producing training videos in AI Avatar video tools from ready-made scripts.
* Working initially in one language and later supporting a multilingual production model.
* Using teleprompter notes and production guidelines to create consistent lesson videos.
* Designing and building interactive simulations in Adobe Captivate.
* Creating simulation flows such as:
* Demo: the learner watches the process.
* Training: the learner follows the process with guidance.
* Assessment: the learner completes the process independently.
* Packaging lessons in SCORM 1.2 with correct tracking configuration.
* Delivering SCORM packages ready for LMS integration.
* Coordinating with the technical lead so videos, simulations and tracking work correctly inside LearnDash.
* Defining and maintaining the visual and pedagogical template for lessons.
* Documenting the production process so it can be repeated and scaled.
* In a later phase, supporting client training projects, production planning and quality control.
Requirements
You should have:
* Real experience producing e-learning courses with Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline or equivalent tools.
* Strong understanding of instructional design and online learning.
* Ability to build interactive simulations, not only static slides or simple videos.
* Experience exporting or packaging SCORM content.
* Understanding of learner progression, completion logic and LMS tracking requirements.
* Strong attention to visual consistency, learning flow and user comprehension.
* Ability to work independently from scripts, templates and structured briefs.
* Work language can be English or Spanish preferred, but French is acceptable if communication is otherwise clear and structured.
* Must be based in Morocco
* Available to work in a structured, deadline-driven production process.
Nice to have
The following skills are valuable but not required:
* Experience with HeyGen or other AI avatar/video tools.
* Experience producing corporate or B2B training.
* Experience producing software training, process training or operational training.
* Adobe Premiere, Audition, After Effects, Camtasia or similar post-production tools.
* Experience creating reusable templates and production manuals.
* Experience coordinating small training production projects.
* Good understanding of LearnDash or other LMS platforms.
Engagement model
This role starts with a freelance trial, but we are looking for someone who could become part of the future company if the collaboration works well.
Phase 1 — Initial freelance production project
Fixed price. Production of several initial courses or course modules, including HeyGen videos, Adobe Captivate simulations, SCORM packages, reusable templates and production documentation.
Phase 2 — Ongoing production
Project-based or retainer model for continued course production.
Phase 3 — In-house path in Morocco
If the collaboration works well and the business validates as expected, the goal is to transition this role into a full-time position within the future Moroccan company.
