We are currently looking for a highly motivated Installation Engineer to join our Engineering Management Department, a key technical function responsible for the execution of industrial projects, installation activities, and equipment commissioning. The selected candidates will benefit from an international technical development program, including hands-on exposure and training in China, focused on industrial installation standards, construction best practices, and complex engineering project environments.
Position Overview
This role is part of the Engineering Management Department and plays a key role in ensuring the installation, commissioning, and acceptance of industrial equipment, piping systems, and instrumentation for both new build and retrofit projects.
The Installation Engineer ensures that all works are executed in full compliance with:
* Design drawings
* Technical specifications
* Industrial safety standards
This guarantees a safe, reliable, and efficient startup of production facilities.
Main Responsibilities
1. Installation planning & site execution
* Prepare detailed installation plans based on design drawings and site conditions
* Define equipment layout, piping routes, and installation approaches
* Coordinate construction activities (rigging, welding, etc.)
* Supervise installation progress, quality, and compliance
* Maintain installation execution records
2. Quality control & inspection
* Enforce industrial installation standards and codes
* Supervise critical operations (welding, flange connections, sealing tests, etc.)
* Organize hydrostatic, pneumatic, and other testing activities
* Ensure full compliance with safety and engineering requirements
3. Material inspection & site management
* Verify incoming equipment, piping, valves, fittings, and instrumentation
* Ensure compliance with technical specifications and documentation
* Manage non-conforming materials (return/replacement)
* Maintain full traceability of installation materials
4. Technical issue resolution
* Handle on-site discrepancies between design and actual conditions
* Coordinate with engineering, design, and process teams
* Propose and implement technical solutions to ensure project continuity
5. Project completion & documentation
* Support final acceptance and commissioning activities
* Prepare as-built documentation and technical reports
* Ensure proper handover to operations and maintenance teams
Profile Requirements
Education & background
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Process Equipment, Pipeline Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
* Strong understanding of industrial systems and mechanical installation principles
Technical skills
* Ability to read AutoCAD drawings, P&ID, and piping isometrics
* Knowledge of industrial installation standards is a plus
* Familiarity with measuring tools is an advantage
Experience
* Internship or first experience in industrial installation, construction, or commissioning projects is preferred
* Hands-on industrial site exposure is highly valued

Preferred qualifications
* Knowledge of industrial process environments (chemical, piping systems, corrosion-resistant materials, etc.)
